Positive Review of\u00a0ITHEC 2018<\/h1>\n

Already for the 4th time, the International Conference and Exhibition for Thermoplastic Composite Materials took place.\u00a0The who`s who of this field met there.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The future of thermoplastics (PEEK, PEK, PEI) in the automotive industry<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0aviation industry<\/a> was discussed in numerous and informative lectures at ITHEC. Due to the properties of these special plastics it is possible to generate shorter cycle times than in the processing of thermosets. But for this, it is absolutely necessary that the presses are also designed for fast processing thermoplastics<\/a>.
\nSo it was not surprising that many interested visitors came to the booth of Langzauner. The hydraulic presses<\/a> from Langzauner are equipped with infrared heating<\/a> (IR station) that guarantees a fast and efficient heating rate. A transfer unit transports the heated high-performance plastic to the press in a timely manner. The visitors were also impressed by the implemetion of a single or double shuttle tables as well as the material handling.<\/p>\n
