JEC World 2026 in Paris – Review and Thank You from Langzauner
The JEC World 2026 in Paris once again confirmed why it is considered the world’s leading trade show for composite materials and composite manufacturing technologies. For Langzauner, the event was an excellent opportunity to meet customers, partners, and experts from the international composites industry in person.
We would like to sincerely thank all visitors who stopped by our booth. The many discussions about current projects, technological developments, and future requirements once again showed how strongly the industry is moving toward automated and industrialized composite production.
Automation in Composite Manufacturing
One of the key topics at the exhibition was the industrialization of composite production. Composite materials are becoming increasingly important in industries such as aerospace, automotive, defense, energy, and advanced mobility. At the same time, requirements for production speed, process stability, and component quality continue to grow.
This is exactly where Langzauner’s technologies come into play. Our focus is on the development of high-precision press technology and automated production systems for composite components.
By implementing automated systems, manufacturers benefit from:
- higher productivity and scalability
- more stable and repeatable processes
- consistently high component quality
- reduced manual process steps
- improved digital process control and traceability
These factors are especially critical for industries where quality, efficiency, and reliable series production are essential.
Innovative Composite Technology at Our Booth
A special highlight at our booth was a thermoplastic “Wing Movable”, displayed as a loaned component from FACC AG. The component gave visitors a practical insight into current developments in automated composite manufacturing in the aerospace industry.
The demonstrator was developed in collaboration with Embraer, Toray Advanced Composites, and Coriolis Composites, showcasing modern technologies for the industrial production of thermoplastic composite structures.
At the center of the process are AFP (Automated Fiber Placement) for automated fiber layup and induction welding for the efficient joining of thermoplastic components—key technologies for scalable composite production in aerospace applications.
