Project „Flame Eater 2026“
As part of their final apprenticeship examination, our mechanical engineering apprentices present their apprenticeship project every year — the “Flame Eater.”
This device is a vacuum engine that the apprentices developed entirely on their own — from the initial concept and design, through cost calculation, all the way to manufacturing and assembly.
The project demonstrates how technical understanding, careful planning, and practical skills come together to create a working machine.
The Flame Eater is not only an interesting example of a physical principle, but also a symbol of what a strong technical apprenticeship stands for: responsibility, problem-solving, and hands-on engineering.
Congratulations to David Dullinger, Niklas Bachmayer, and Oliver Kalchgruber on successfully completing your training! We wish you every success in your future careers. 🚀⚙️
